This Privacy Policy explains how VASASU PRIVATE LIMITED collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use MadTables, including our website, web console, mobile app, desktop app, backend services, AI features, scheduled tasks, notifications, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect account information such as your email address, display name, authentication provider, profile details, subscription status, and basic account timestamps. If you sign in with Google or another identity provider, we receive the information that provider shares with us for login.

MadTables may process connection profiles, database metadata, table and column names, query text, query results, saved chats, scheduled task configuration, result previews, notification preferences, device push tokens, and activity logs when you choose to use those features. Some app settings and local workspace state may be stored on your device or in your browser.

If you use paid features, we process purchase and subscription information from the relevant app store or payment provider, such as product identifiers, purchase tokens, subscription state, expiration dates, and entitlement status. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

2. Database Connections and Customer Data

MadTables is designed to help you connect to and work with databases that you control. You are responsible for the databases, credentials, records, files, and other content that you connect, upload, query, or generate through the service. We process this information only to provide the features you request, such as running queries, showing results, saving workspace state, syncing encrypted vault data, or executing scheduled tasks.

You should not connect systems or submit data that you are not authorized to use. You should avoid sending highly sensitive information to AI features unless you have reviewed your configuration and decided that it is appropriate for your use case.

3. AI Features

When you use AI-assisted features, MadTables may send your prompt, relevant schema context, query text, result previews, and selected workspace context to AI service providers or to a model endpoint configured by you. This is used to generate query plans, explanations, summaries, and related assistance. If you provide your own API key, the applicable provider's terms and privacy practices may also apply.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to operate MadTables, authenticate users, maintain sessions, provide database tooling, run AI features, sync user data, verify purchases, deliver notifications, provide support, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your connected database content for advertising.

5. Service Providers

We may use service providers for hosting, authentication, cloud storage, push notifications, analytics, app distribution, billing, purchase verification, AI processing, logging, and customer support. These providers are permitted to process information only as needed to provide services to us or to you.

6. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These safeguards may include encrypted transport, access controls, authentication, secure storage mechanisms, and separation of user data. No system is completely secure, so you should use strong credentials, protect your devices, and limit access to sensitive databases.

7. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements. Some information may remain in backups, logs, purchase records, or audit records for a limited period after deletion.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You can update some account information in the app. You can request account deletion using the instructions below.

9. Children's Privacy

MadTables is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

10. International Processing

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different data protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as updating the date on this page or providing an in-app notice.
