Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of MadTables, including our website, web console, mobile app, desktop app, backend services, AI features, scheduled tasks, notifications, and related services. MadTables is provided by VASASU PRIVATE LIMITED.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing MadTables, or using any part of the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use MadTables for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and the word you includes that organization.

2. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, devices, API keys, credentials, database access details, and any activity under your account. You must provide accurate account information and promptly update it when needed. Notify us if you believe your account or credentials have been compromised.

3. Your Data and Database Connections

You retain ownership of the data, database content, credentials, queries, schemas, files, prompts, outputs, and other materials that you provide to MadTables. You grant us the limited permission needed to host, process, transmit, display, and otherwise handle that material solely to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have all rights and permissions needed to connect databases, run queries, upload data, schedule tasks, use AI features, and share results. You are also responsible for reviewing queries, generated outputs, schema changes, migrations, and scheduled actions before using them in production systems.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use MadTables to violate law, infringe rights, access systems without authorization, exfiltrate data, distribute malware, attack or disrupt services, bypass rate limits or security controls, reverse engineer the service except where permitted by law, or transmit illegal, harmful, deceptive, or abusive content.

5. AI Features and Outputs

MadTables may provide AI-assisted query generation, explanations, summaries, and workflow assistance. AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, unsafe, or unsuitable for your environment. You must review and validate AI outputs before relying on them, especially before running queries, applying schema changes, changing permissions, deleting data, or taking other high-impact actions.

6. Subscriptions, Credits, and Purchases

Some features may require a paid subscription, credit balance, app store purchase, or other paid plan. Prices, features, limits, and renewal terms may be shown at checkout or inside the app. Purchases made through an app store are also governed by that app store's terms. Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, payments are non-refundable and access may end when a subscription expires or is canceled.

7. Third-Party Services

MadTables may interoperate with third-party databases, identity providers, app stores, hosting providers, notification services, AI providers, and other services. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their handling of your data. Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and policies.

8. Service Changes and Availability

We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue parts of MadTables at any time. We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee that MadTables will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every database, platform, provider, or configuration.

9. Intellectual Property

MadTables, including its software, design, branding, documentation, and related materials, is owned by VASASU PRIVATE LIMITED or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of MadTables to you.

10. Disclaimers

MadTables is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VASASU PRIVATE LIMITED and its directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, loss of data, business interruption, security incidents caused by your systems, or unauthorized use of your credentials.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VASASU PRIVATE LIMITED from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your use of MadTables, your data, your connected systems, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to MadTables if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for the service or others, failed to pay applicable fees, or used the service unlawfully. You may stop using MadTables at any time and may request account deletion through the Privacy Policy.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise. Courts located in India will have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under local law.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of MadTables after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
